2013 is going to be a big year at Scots on The Rocks.
As some of you may have noticed we are not running a Beginners class in the first half of the year. Never fear, beginners will be back in August for anyone interested in learning Scottish Country Dancing.
So the first cab off the rank for 2013 is our Chaotic Ceilidh on 23 March – tickets will go on sale to the general public on or around 10 March.
Later in March a pretty large Scots on The Rocks contingent will be packing their shoes and heading down to Canberra for the National Folk Festival. Scots on The Rocks will be presenting a couple of dance demonstrations as well as running a workshop and mini Chaotic Ceilidh. Its going to be epic!
That brings us to May, and a fantastic day of dancing. Noriel Tarca (RSCDS Adelaide) will be running an intermediate level workshop in the afternoon, followed by a social in the evening – all in the beautiful Petersham Town Hall with music by Chris Duncan and Catherine Strutt. Program and registration forms available now!
That’s probably enough to be getting on with for now. Happy dancing!
