60th Anniversary of RSCDS Sydney

Scots on the Rocks is not the only group celebrating an anniversary this year.  2012 is also the 60th anniversary of the RSCDS Sydney Branch. To celebrate the branch is holding a number of events through out the year, the first of which is the Day of Diamonds.  Please note this is not a Scots on The Rocks event.

RSCDS Sydney Day of Diamonds

All dancers are invited to celebrate this milestone in dancing.  The Sydney Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) celebrates its 60th anniversary.  The first event in this year of celebration is a Day of Diamonds.  Dancing will be held in an air-conditioned hall on Saturday 18th February from 9.30am till 3pm.  All dancers are welcome – it is free to RSCDS members (and those who join on the day).

Byrne Community Centre
Cnr Fyall Avenue and Darcy Road, Wentworthville.
Just off the Cumberland Highway near to F5, M2 and Parramatta Road.
Parking available. Walk from Wentworthville Station.

All dancers welcome for 1 hour, All day, ½ day – whatever time you can spare. Bring a friend.
Morning and Afternoon tea and coffee will be provided. BYO Lunch.

Non-financial members $10 for whole or part of the day.
RSCDS membership 2012 – $45.

Donations will be gratefully accepted on the day for the MICK WILSON Family Appeal.
Mick Wilson was the paramedic who died at Carrington Falls whilst rescuing an injured man.
