Observatory Hill has suffered a power outage, affecting Fort Street School.
Most of the school, including the hallways, toilets and driveway, is without any lighting. Naturally, the committee is concerned that the darkness is a safety hazard.
Although Ausgrid are working on the problem we have no guarantee that the power will be restored in time for tonight’s class.
