Remembrance Day saw the class dancing Ayrshire Wheelie Bin, Peggy’s Strathspey, The Hungarian Bride and Tribute to Timor. Thank you Cathryn for an interesting and challenging night.

Looking across to New Zealand last night we danced The Meeting of the Waters, Happy to Meet, The Withywhistle, The Lords of the Wind and The Glittering Caves.

A warm Tuesday saw a John Drewry night with dances Zip Up, Mindil Market, Stuart Town Welcomes John Drewry (not written by John, written for him), On the Go and The Rare Bird (from the Bankhead 5 Book). Thank you Cathryn for a fun night with interesting dances.

Looking towards the Epping Social on Saturday night Cathryn took the class through The Linton Ploughman, Miss Milligan’s Strathspey, The Duke of Atholl’s Reel, John of Bon Accord, Farewell to Helensburgh and The Reel of the Royal Scots.

Cathryn took us through dances from the forthcoming Epping Social – The Brudenell Jig, Anderson’s Rant, The Rakes of Glasgow, Lady Susan Stewart’s Reel, Invercauld’s Reel and The Nurseryman. It was wonderful to have some interstate visitors passing through after Winter School drop in and join the class.
