A cold winter’s night saw the class warm themselves up with The Barmkin, The Wild Geese, Miss Gibson’s Strathspey, An Gearasdan, Friends Awa and Miss Johnstone Of Ardrossan.

We had a lovely class last night – some step practice, then Kendall’s Hornpipe, The Hunting Horn, Morrison’s Fancy (a new dance published by RSCDS Sydney 2014), Dillsburg Jig, Cheltenham Ladies and The Reel of the Royal Scots.

Tuesday was our last chance to brush up on the ball dances. So for a warm up we did Lady Catherine Bruce’s Reel, followed by Bill Clement MBE, Big Mac, Follow Me Home, John of Bon Accord, and The Reel of the Royal Scots.
