Tuesday night this week saw us dance Lady Catherine Bruce’s Reel, Sleepy Maggie, Anna Holden’s Strathspey, The Wild Geese, Bob Campbell and Reel of the Royal Scots. Thank you Robert for your instruction – we all enjoyed the night.

Tuesday night with Robert took us through a number of dances on the SoTR May Social programme and a dance or two from the RSCDS Sydney Ball programme – Catch The Wind, A Capital Jig, Capetown Wedding, Big Mac and to finish off that perennial favourite to have fun with De’il Amang the Tailors.

Welcoming some visitors Diana led the class through Get Your Skates On, Dancing Around, Cadgers in the Cannongate and D’eil Amang the Tailors.

Thanks to everyone who braved the torrential rain to attend class last night, including our visitors Charles and Alex from Boston, USA. Robert led the class through Fugal Fergus, John of Bon Accord, Invercauld’s Reel, Mrs Stewart’s Jig, The Ladies of Dunse and Flowers of Edinburgh.

Last night saw 3 four couple sets enjoy the energetic and challenging dances – The Duke of Atholl’s Reel, Gang the Same Gate, The Bonnie Tree, Catch the Wind and Flowers of Edinburgh. Thanks to Robert for teaching the class and to everyone for what was an enjoyable evening.
