An extremely windy Melbourne Cup night saw an enthusiastic group of dancers enjoy another session with Jeanette. We polished our pousette in jig and reel time and strathspey setting and travelling steps. Tuesday Dances

A chilly night saw a group of the faithful gather again to enjoy warm-ups, our movement exercise, followed by dances devised by John Drewry –  Netherby Hall, Bratach Bana, The Quaich and The Peat Fire Flame.  Netherby Hall was inspired by Sir Walter Scott’s poem.  The first 16 bars represent the story of Scott’s poem.  …
