Thanks to everyone who braved the torrential rain to attend class last night, including our visitors Charles and Alex from Boston, USA. Robert led the class through Fugal Fergus, John of Bon Accord, Invercauld’s Reel, Mrs Stewart’s Jig, The Ladies of Dunse and Flowers of Edinburgh.

Good to be back at Dancing

We’re back on deck for 2014. At our first class for the year last night we welcomed visitors from around Sydney, the UK and Darwin. Thanks to all for coming and thanks to Jan for a great night that included Birkdale Strathspey, The Barmkin, Welcome to the Dance, Granville Market and the Saltire Strathspey.

Tuesday dances

An extremely windy Melbourne Cup night saw an enthusiastic group of dancers enjoy another session with Jeanette. We polished our pousette in jig and reel time and strathspey setting and travelling steps.
